'il fuq mill-għatba’ is a continuation of Kurt Paris' Covid-inspired photography series 'Fuq l-għatba'.

Where 'Fuq l-għatba' captured the emotions of Maltese people coming out of their house during the "Stay Home, Stay Safe" period in March, 'il fuq mill-għatba' takes this series a step further by adding a layer of drawings by Moira Zahra. The drawings in this case can be interpreted as a playful visualisation of the subjects's introspection, a somewhat surreal depiction of current events, or even a beacon of hope in what are otherwise bleak times.

Prints of selected images are available for sale, and a limited number of commissions will be accepted for having your own 'il fuq mill-għatba’ photo and illustration.
